Hate Crime by Obama Supporter
Yes, former President and Navy Officer Jimmy Carter, along with the rest of Obama’s minions have it right when they say the debate surrounding socialized medicine is full of hate and racism. I have seen this first hand. Yes, hate is being hurled full speed at American citizens, but it is coming from the port side not the starboard side.
For those unfamiliar with nautical terms the port side of a ship is the left side when one is facing forward. If one faces backwards, as is the case for left wing racists, then the port side appears to be on the right. It is easy to see why Obama’s bigoted minions, with their backward facing point of view are confused—they don’t know left from right, let alone port from starboard.

A Calling Card from Former Colleagues of Senator Robert Byrd (D) West Virginia
Before I describe the hateful actions of Obama’s supporters, I need to provide you with some context. I am an American of Asian descent. For a number of months I have been exercising my 1st Amendment rights by attending Tea Parties throughout Michigan and in Washington, D.C. Further exercising my free speech rights I attached a banner across the rear of my van that shouts at the top of my lungs “Euthanize ObamaCare.” This banner has generated lots of attention from passing motorists. The vast majority of motorists that express an opinion give me the thumbs up. Only a small fraction shows me an extended middle finger. The typical ratio is 90% thumbs to 10% fingers. Judging from the thumbs I see, Americans are giving ObamaCare the middle finger.
I think Obama’s devout followers also sense there is a lack of public support. They are getting desperate and feel the need to silence the opposition. They saw my banner as a threat to their socialist utopia and attempted to scare me into silence by vandalizing my vehicle. I guess I am not surprised that Obama’s followers would resort to thug-style tactics as public support of their dear leader’s plan continues to wane.
While I was on business last week in Cranberry Township, PA, (north of Pittsburgh) some of Obama’s cronies attempted to intimidate me by scratching racist messages across my vehicle. The words “White Power,” “KKK,” and “f___ you” greeted me as I approached my vehicle to depart the hotel where I stayed for the night. At first, I thought some joker just wrote these messages in the morning dew. When I reached my vehicle it was clear that the hate-filled rhetoric was of a permanent nature. The perpetrators scratched and scribed their words into the paint, perhaps using a set of car keys. I guess when Obama issues directives to “punch back twice as hard” his followers really take those commands to heart: they defaced every door, the back hatch, and a front fender. I now see how an angry mob reacts when incited by a community agitator.

Supporters of ObamaCare Expressing What They Think of American Citizens
The police officer who came out and took my report stated that this vandalism was a hate crime. This took me by surprise as I hadn’t thought of this as a hate crime. Rather, I viewed this as an act of political vandalism. But, as the officer explained, the words chosen by the perpetrators would definitely put this into the hate crime category. The racist language etched on my vehicle by Obama supporters were meant to intimidate me, a minority, from expressing my point of view. I wonder if Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson would be interested in probing into this civil right violation… probably not.
Even though I was victimized by a hate crime I will not view myself as a victim. I will not wallow in self-pity and blame white society for the shortcomings of our country—as left wing zealots commonly do. I will press forward as a vocal advocate for true American freedom. Even in in the face of left-wing racial intimidation, I will continue the fight against socialism and the erosion of individual liberty. I’m on the starboard side. I’m steering forward. And I know I’m right.
(You can confirm this incident for yourself by contacting the Cranberry Township Police Department at 724.776.5180. Patrolman William Roberts (extension 1410) took the report. The incident occurred on October 1, 2009. )

Mike,
I describe this incident as a hate crime because someone with knowledge of the law informed me it was a hate crime—the police officer that took the report. The thugs chose their words for the sole purpose of intimidation along racial lines. If you want to understand the motivations behind this act of vandalism, you should inquire among Obama’s faithful followers, as that is where this sentiment comes from.
I find your hypothesis interesting, that perhaps an “idiot kid” was the perp. I don’t recall ever seeing any past media reports suggesting that the spray painting of “White Power” and “KKK” across the garage door of any minority was anything but a hate crime. If I extrapolated your hypothesis then I guess one could conclude that there are no hate crimes – just “idiot kids.”
In closing, Jimmy Carter’s assertion that Tea Party citizens are racist is not factual. His assertions are just his opinion, yet the media echo chamber portrays his partisan opinion as truth. Opinions like his are intended to divide America along racial lines all for political gain. Do you find that as reprehensible as I do?

For Mike, the best thing that would happen in this country would be that all “I want to be like Europe” idiots would just move to Europe and let us Americans get our country back on the path the founders wanted us on. All your crap about insurance not paying, I work in the industry and can tell you who denies claims, Badgercare, Medicare and Medicaid, then Tricare. 10 to 1 they deny claims and needed procedures. My insurance, Humana, has never denied a claim. I do them a favor now and go to Costco across town because their medications are cheaper than Walgreen and Walmart. Remember your insurance still pays after the $4 you pay. I don’t go to the ED every time I or my 3 kids has a sore throat or cough, most people in the ED have insurance or are eligible for insurance. Guess which ones most have! Time for the federal government to follow their oath of office and leave it to the states and local municipalities to solve problems and stop creating more.

I’m curious about how the author knows it was a hate crime rather than just some idiot kid or young adult. I had my car keyed; and I had no bumper stickers or any other thing posted on it.

What I hear from this post is that people who haven’t really studied health care reform insist on calling it “Obamacare,” which it is not.
I am hoping what has been decided so far will be replaced with a single payer system or something not single payer but where the insurance companies are limited in their profits from their “captured” clients.
If you believe you have health insurance right now you are probably wrong. Just get a fatal or near-fatal illness or get involved in a terrible traffic or other accident., Suddenly your good insurance will seem almost worthless.
Change in how our health care works must happen now. If you don’t realize this, then you are ignorant. If you think the current congressional plan is a good one, you are wrong, too. However, it would provide better health care and more certainty than what we have now.
The best thing that could happen would be HR 676.

Continue standing tall, we will overcome this dark hour within our nation. Such behavior exposes the fools for what they really are…pathetic animals.

wow, what do you expect from criminals… I don’t think anyone but criminals, lawless, reprobate, traitors, the immoral and black racists support obama anymore…everyone else actually wants America to succeed…and Obama is the worst thing to come down the pike since Jimmy Carter.

I may have been victimized but I am not a victim. That Obama’s minions resorted to this tactic illustrates that we are getting our message out there and it is making a difference. As pilots say — You know you’re over the target when you start taking flak. We are definitely on target. Talk to your friends and neighbors and get them on the target also.

Chris,
Supporters of ObamaCare do not have the facts on their side. Therefore, they resort to name calling. When that doesn’t work they resort to violence. They are determined to impose their collectivist views on every individual citizen–and I’m just as determined to see that they don’t.

Bill,
Dittos – I’m am thankful that our paths crossed in D.C. I’m am also thankful for the milliions of other patriots like you that are investing their time and energy to get the word out on this socialist adminstration. I think the general public is now seeing that “change” is not always good. Keep up the fight.

Amy,
Individual liberty and freedom to choose what’s best for our families is what our nation was founded on. I will not cede this authority to the government. It is not only important to me, it is important to future generations of Americans.

How low we have sunk when disagreement is labelled as racism. On the other hand we can see their actions as the desperate attempt of those who are incapable of rational argument to silence the logic of reason.
